Garlic bagels

Shortly after my father got here he asked where he could get some garlic bagels. I told him that there was no place to get freshly baked bagels around here, but assured him that I could make them. He didn’t really believe me, but when he wakes up tomorrow morning and sees a plate full of garlic bagels he will.
I’m still experimenting with bagels here and there. At some point we got bageled out and I had to lay low. But when I saw my father eyeing a bag of chemical bagels I made a face, said ewww and promised to make him some soon.
I want to make Vegan Dad’s Hickory Smoked Veggie Turkey Lunchmeat and make a bagel sandwich or something. I seriously traveled through several counties in search of nutritional yeast so that I could make that turkey. I’ve been eyeing it for quite some time. Tomorrow is the day. Only problem is I have no clue what to add to my sandwich. I was planning on the turkey, some veggie bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado and some sort of dressing or spread. I’m just not sure what. What do you suggest? I’ll probably just go with Vegenaise. Can’t go wrong there.
You can view my first bagel post here to see how I made these. Have a nice weekend, everyone!

Those look delicious! My husband and I have a Saturday morning bagel and coffee tradition. It would be really nice to surprise him with homemade ones. I’ll definitely be checking out the other post you linked to :)
